About Us
Dr. Aoife Flanagan founded Deerpark Aesthetics in 2015. She holds an Honours Degree in Dentistry from University College Cork, having previously completed an Honours Degree in Microbiology at NUI Galway. Committed to excellence in aesthetic medicine, Dr. Aoife completed the highly selective three-year MSc in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Manchester, graduating with a Distinction. This internationally renowned programme is widely regarded as the gold standard in aesthetic education and is led by world-leading experts in the field.
Her postgraduate research focused on the role of dermal fillers in stimulating skin rejuvenation, with particular emphasis on age-dependent responses. Her research has been published in collaboration with esteemed colleagues within the aesthetic medicine community.
Dr. Aoife is a member of the Irish College of Aesthetic Medicine, the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group, and the Irish Dental Association. She has a particular interest in preventative and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments, with a philosophy centred on subtle, natural enhancement. Renowned for her refined “NoTox” approach, she believes that prevention is key and that less is more, always assessing the face holistically rather than treating isolated areas.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development. Dr. Aoife undertakes advanced training both in Ireland and internationally. She has trained extensively with leading global brands including Allergan and Oris Medical, the number one provider of aesthetic training in the UK, at the Royal College of General Practitioners in London. Her expertise also includes training with Dr. Zein Obagi Medical Skincare and the use of premium, FDA-approved dermal filler products such as Juvéderm, Aliaxin, and Teoxane, allowing her to tailor treatments precisely to each patient’s needs.
